I got my dress back and for the price I thought it would look better. The ribbon that was tied around the waste is twisted, the chest is flat and I just thought it would look better. Not as impressed as I thought I'd be.
We purchased our box/prepaid cleaning from David's Bridal and sent in the dress. We were later notified that the dress had been cleaned and that we would be sent our tracking number by UPS. That never happened, so we did not know when the delivery would be made. We were distressed to find that the "insured" dress was left outside our door when we were out of town; no signature had been required. It is a blessing that the box was not stolen. I got my wedding dress back and none of the stains had been removed.... Glad I spent so much money so that your company could put my dirty dress in a box!
I received the boxed and sealed preserved gown. Packaging was not damaged and it looked fine through the box. One star for this. Second star is for the email notifications that I received through emails informing me the process and keeping me updated. Third star is rated for the time, the gown came back within a few weeks. It was a fast service. However as opening the box is not recommended, I didn't get to see the gown in terms if stains and dirt has been removed, or cleaned as much as possible. My dress came back quickly, and my dress looks amazing! But, I paid to have my box personalized and it says "Mr. & Mr." Called and was supposed to get a return address slip to send it back. It's been over two weeks and I still haven't received one. My rating could be A LOT better if my box could get the attention I paid for.
The first time I sent my dress off it came back with a hair between the window and outer plastic. I called and it was fixed for free. However I got it back and was very disappointed. I opened my box and the display box is damaged and I had the veil added the Second time and it looks HORRIBLE! Have to give a 3 out of 5, because the recommendation is not to open the box and without doing so, I can't rate the actual cleaning of my gown, which is a priority for me. I suggest a "cleaning summary". This could be something attached to the invoice initially where the customer notes obvious areas of staining on the dress, etc... perhaps even including an outline of the dress with stained areas circled. Not pleased with your company. We shipped 5 dresses to you. 3 of the 5 boxes damaged (we did return them and get them repackaged) and my dress was sent to someone else. The party had to send my dress back to Memories than back to me. We spent over $700 on the preservation kits and the packaging is really really cheap. A cardboard box with protective wrapping. The box is smashed and the dress was not displayed well. Then when it was reported to David's bridal they said it's not their problem! Terrible service
