This location is my favorite place but I am very disappointed this time. For one jacket the want to charge me for 80$. This is ridiculous
Time after time they pick up my clothes, but don’t deliver any clothes AND DON’T EVEN LEAVE A BAG for the next batch. I have left a sign with a simple request more than once:: French Cleaners - if you take a bag please leave a bag, even if you’re not delivering anything. The first time it was inconvenient. The second time it was irritating. This third time it’s a freakin’ joke. What didn’t my clothes from Friday get delivered, and why am I left without a bag?
I like the convenience of the pick up and drop off but the system does not allow for special instructions or requests. Communication is restricted. I would like more starch in my shirts. I don’t like how my socks are folded. Folding in general is not great. Several collar stays were missing from my shirts recently. Should I remove these before sending my laundry?
Have used you before and have always been pleased with your organization and quality. This time we brought in 5 articles to be cleaned. The 3 clothing pieces were done as specified however the drapes and suede jacket were not ready in the day we were told supposedly because my husband tried to pick them up before 4:00. He asked if they could be delivered to our business in Hartford the next day. All that came were the drapes! We had to call to ask where the jacket was and were told it wasn’t ready. Wedding dress cleaning took 10 months when it was initially promised in 3. I understand things get backed up but nobody ever called or reached out on status or an updated completion date. Completely in the dark. I had to call and stop in myself to see where things were. Everybody was very nice and all, but terrible communication.
Both times I came into the cleaners no one asked me could they help me. I stood there for about four minutes while a young lady was looking at a shirt and talking to a guy who worked there. She did not have a customer. No one acknowledged me. Finally a women came from downstairs and asked if she could help me. Then a white women walked in and the girl who was ignoring me asked her if she could assist her. This has happen to me twice, I am not happy about it. Money is green that is all that should matter.

Missed delivery & pickup by substitute delivery person, which was also unknown to anyone at French Cleaners. I called the next day to inquire and received an apology and informed that I could either wait until the next delivery/pickup date or come in to pickup my cleaning. I explained that I use French Cleaners for the pickup and delivery because, due to my work schedule, I am not able to pickup.
