Joe Jacobs Sr. built Dandy Cleaners in 1955 then later sold the store to Margaret Smith. She owned Dandy until 1967 when Kenneth Hill bought it. Mr. Hill owned and operated the store for 35 years until his retirement in February 2003. Larry Hill, his son, who had worked with his father since 1978 is now the owner. Dandy Cleaners has been an active supporter of the local community. We provide cleaning for area schools as well as many of the local churches, police officers, race teams and businesses. Always great experience! Friendly staff that greet you with a smile and are usually able to assist you right away and if others are in line before you, it is only a very short wait. It was okay .Lady who was at cashier wasn’t to friendly at all didn’t greet me when i came in and when how much was everything she smack her lip like she didn’t wanted to do it.
