Brothers Cleaners was originally founded in Raleigh in 1916 by Emil Hilker, a German immigrant. Emil’s twin son’s, Jerry and Jim Hilker assumed ownership of the business after his retirement and ran it successfully until the mid 1970’s, when they went their separate business ways. At that point, the business was handed over to our current owners, twins Tom and Bob Hilker, the third generation to continue their family legacy. I like the convenience of having my clothes picked up and delivered and not have to find the time to take them to the dry cleaners. The delivery person - Steve is very nice also.
I dropped off my son's letterman's jacket Friday to have the patch sewn on. The associate was very helpful and offered excellent service. She told me that it may take a week for it to be finished which was fine. To my pleasant surprise I received an email letting me know that it was ready today (Wednesday). I picked it up and received the same level of excellent service but from a different associate and the workmanship was great.
We like Brothers very much,but would appreciate one less email by deleting pick up reminder. Thank you.
We are not regular customers now that my husband is retired but I think the email reminder is a great idea!
Larry picks up our uniforms twice a week with a smile. Great service.
