Brothers Cleaners was originally founded in Raleigh in 1916 by Emil Hilker, a German immigrant. Emil’s twin son’s, Jerry and Jim Hilker assumed ownership of the business after his retirement and ran it successfully until the mid 1970’s, when they went their separate business ways. At that point, the business was handed over to our current owners, twins Tom and Bob Hilker, the third generation to continue their family legacy. The staff at Brothers Cleaners is superb -- professional and well trained. The quality of cleaning has been very satisfactory and this is based on decades of experience. On very rare occasion, when an item is misplaced or at worst lost, the item has been compensated. I consider Brothers Cleaners superior to other providers in Raleigh.

They are always kind to us and make sure if something can't be washed they will email me and also call to let me know. They have the clothes ready on time! Love the Drive through option. My puppy especially and the manager remembers her every time we come! I love this place!

I dropped off a few dress shirts on a Friday morning and was told by the clerk that the order would be ready on Monday. I explained that I was leaving on Monday. He replied that he could contact me if the order was ready sooner. To my surprise, I received an email (text?) late Friday afternoon that my shirts were ready. "Above and beyond" service ! ! !
