Brothers Cleaners was originally founded in Raleigh in 1916 by Emil Hilker, a German immigrant. Emil’s twin son’s, Jerry and Jim Hilker assumed ownership of the business after his retirement and ran it successfully until the mid 1970’s, when they went their separate business ways. At that point, the business was handed over to our current owners, twins Tom and Bob Hilker, the third generation to continue their family legacy. Just letting you know that we don't have as much dry cleaning as we used to. I retired, so no more uniforms, and my husband is self-employed and has very little need for dress shirts, etc. If our driver would prefer, I could text or email him when I have a pickup saving him an unnecessary trip most weeks. The service is very good...we just don't have much to send in these days.
The tailoring was sharp and well done. The cleaning and pressing was above par and the timing on scheduled pick0-up was prompt and courteous.
Had wedding gown preserved. Great job, the dress looks beautiful.
