Needed dry cleaning, just moved to Penns Valley and only two different dry cleaners within 50miles. In Md where I’ve lived same day dry cleaning is $2.20/garment. When I asked how much my 5 pieces would cost I was told, “it’s calculated later for when u pick up”. Imagine my utter shock to be charged $10/garment - 2 shirts and 3 sweaters. I don’t care how good you may be but I will never come back and pay such an outlandish gouging price. You should be ashamed.

You advertise a 20% discount for comforters thru February when I go to pay for it you tell me I had to have a coupon?

The type of discount you tried to use is redeemed through email, as long as you press accept at the bottom of the email the discount will automatically apply to the item if applicable. I had 5 shirts picked up at my home on a Monday, and only received 2 of the 5 on the delivery Thursday. I would not have minded, but I needed 2 of the 5 that were NOT delivered to wear in a community theatre play production!!! I have never had a partial delivery before- never.

My white jacket was completely cleaned after I got black ink on it. The service at the counter was very curteous.

I was not told that you wouldn’t accept cash until I arrived to pick up my dry cleaning, and I was referred to a tiny sign by the counter indicating you did not want cash. I had only brought cash with me, so the worker said that he would accept the cash, but would not give me any change back. So what is the point of this policy? Hypocrisy!

Something has changed dramatically at Balfurd Cleaner. They do not live up to the "environmentally friendly" quality dry cleaning process they advertise. They also do not respect the customer as evidenced by when my wife and I took back blankets that were extremely smelly of chemical smells. We both had headaches from the toxic smells in our home, where the customer service representative questioned whether we were correct. He went from item to item checking for smell.
