Fred Walden worked at the store on Porter off and on from 1959 to 1968. In 1968 he took a job in Texas until spring of 1969. In May of 1969 Fred Walden met his wife Carolyn Walden at Sonic on Lindsey Street. They were married in December and for the first few months Carolyn worked at another job but it wasn't long before she came to work at Waldens Cleaners. I had dropped off 6 pairs of jeans and asked for Medium starch. When I picked them up, I felt something was off but didn’t discover what it was til I got home and checked my receipts. The jeans were pressed but no starch. This is the first time I’ve been disappointed in more than 30 years using Waldens. Of course, I’ll continue to us them because overall, they have a good track record.

By far, The best cleaners in Norman/Oklahoma City area. I’ve never had a damage button on my dress shirts, and they take extra care to remove Stains before cleaning. They’re also the kindest ladies who take care of us. You are settling for mediocrity if you don’t use Walden Cleaners.

I dropped a QUEEN size comforter off at Walden’s located at Highland Parkway on 2-29-24. The minute I walked in the door, I was greeted in a very friendly manner. The lady told me that the comforter may take two days to clean and dry. I needed it that day or at the latest, by the next day (3-1-24). However, I realized that it was there to be cleaned and I accepted the time frame. Much to my surprise, I was texted later that afternoon, that the comforter was ready to be picked up.
