Fred Walden worked at the store on Porter off and on from 1959 to 1968. In 1968 he took a job in Texas until spring of 1969. In May of 1969 Fred Walden met his wife Carolyn Walden at Sonic on Lindsey Street. They were married in December and for the first few months Carolyn worked at another job but it wasn't long before she came to work at Waldens Cleaners. I have been using this dry cleaner/laundry for years. They have cleaned things I would have thought impossible to get clean. The staff is friendly and the service impeccable.
I am very happy with the quality of their work. they pre-spot stains, replace buttons and do a wonderful job in Pressing my dress shirts, Plus I am always greeted with a smile and a “hello “. I go to the Walden Cleaners on Highland, Norman. You should be too.
