Two major unsatisfactory results of cleaning delivered: 1) Three cotton (ladies') shirts - POORLY PRESSED, NOT ENOUGH STARCH EVEN THOUGH i HAVE ALWAYS REQUESTED MAXIMUM STARCH ON COTTON SHIRTS"! 2) DELIVERY PROBLEM: Heavy bag of cleaned clothes were hung on a VERY HIGH HOOK (8 FEET OR MORE). I am 93 and much hampered by arthritis. Had to wait a day for Caregiver to get a ladder and lift bag down for me. CLEANING SHOULD ALWAYS BE LEFT RIGHT BY MY FRONT DOOR, LAID ON A HIGH STOOL. Incredibly disappointing. I dropped off three pieces of clothing and two out of three of them were destroyed. I had to literally throw them away after paying $40+. One item had a stain that wasn't treated and I was charged for the service. I was notified my other two items were ready for pick up and when I arrived my silk DVF shirt that needed to be sewn wasn't sewn. the worst cleaner ever. Redondo Beach location has a moron alterations lady that screwed up $300,00 pair of pants and the other one she pretend to alter but she had done nothing. they charged me 80,00 for a service that was crappy and never done and when I complained the impolite lady turned her back on me and kept doing her job. Manager has no attitude if any is a negative. they lost my business and the entire family as well. Dear Team at Flair, I've been using your services for at least 15 years. I even made the drive across town from Tarzana (for two years) to use your services. I live in Studio City again, but Sadly, your price increases are not in line with other cleaners. Might be time to look elsewhere
Just my second experience with Flair. Expensive. On my way to the car, I noticed that my cashmere sweater still had spots and one was now surrounded by discolored fabric. Also, what was once a spot is now a discolored zone. I took it back it and was told, "oh yeah, there's a note on that one... they couldn't clean it, but if you leave it we'll try again for free". a) They should have told me they couldn't clean it when they gave me the garment and b) they charged me $13.75..because they tried and failed?
