As I previously responded, Swanson's destroyed my garment by wet cleaning it instead of dry cleaning as the label said and as I initially requested. I was willing to let it go and buy a new garment, but I have been unsuccessful in many attempts to do that. Had Swanson's offered to issue a refund for their incorrect "cleaning", I would not have given Swanson's the lowest rating. I brought in 2 pairs of pants for clean & press. Excellent job on those. I also brought in a pair of shorts that needed repair on the button hole, which had become frayed. It is that repair that I am very disappointed about. The frayed parts were not cut away before any sewing was done and the sewing that was done was very minimal and still looks like it needs repair or it will get frayed again very quickly. I brought a brand new item of clothing that said "dry clean only" to Swanson's to have it dry cleaned, believing they were experts. I received a telephone call the next day from the clerk at the counter asking if I would approve wet cleaning it instead. I said I have no expertise to know whether it was OK to ignore the label, and that my concern was protection of the garment. I asked if wet cleaning was safe and would protect the garment, despite the "dry clean only" label. She assured me it would be fine, so I approved... read more

I dropped off 13 pieces of clothing on Thursday (7 pairs of pants, 5 blouses, & 1 Pea coat). These items were counted by me and then the clerk who received them. He gave me my receipt and told me it would be ready for pick up on Monday at 4pm. I showed up Monday at 5pm. There were 11 pieces ready for pick up. I asked him (the same clerk who had receive my clothes) about the other 2 and was informed that 1 was not yet done. I love the fact service but $10 a shirt is ridiculous plus a 10% extra fee to rush. I won't be back in less it is an absolute emergency

Good. My rayon shirt, however, was very expensive to clean--$8!. The shirt was probably purchased for $30. Also, two shirts over the past 6 weeks smelled pungent once I began to perspire. The other shirts picked up at the same time were OK, but these two reeked a mildew aroma.

it was a little pricey for what i had done. i also did not gwt my original hangers back. the leather jacket i had done took extra time, though i wasnt told it would, and it was not very well cleaned. i am pretty disappointed and probably wont return.
