In 1925 Gassner joined with Benjamin Mellman and a third friend, Jacob Ritvoe, to incorporate French Dye Works at the location it currently sits today, 935 Farmington Ave. Today, French Cleaners is focused on servicing the loyal customer base and maintaining the high quality and impeccable service so many have come to expect.

John assured me that he could assist with no problem when we spoke a few days before the wedding. Everyone was very helpful right away. I had a pair of slacks shortened and the tailor area was also very helpful. The slacks were finished early and I appreciated the text informing of its completion.

French Cleaners has been taking care of my families cleaners needs for years. Unfortunately they have spoiled my children, now that they have grown up they Complain that other cleaners in their home towns or schools are just not “French Cleaners” . They even bring clothes home when they come just to get that FC touch. My family is sold on you guys. MJB Seaboard Marina.
