Although not officially incorporated until 1957, Comet Cleaner’s history dates all the way back to the 1920’s where founder R.L. “Jack” Godfrey opened his first dry cleaning store. Comet Cleaners has remained in the Godfrey family ever since, with Jack Godfrey, Jr. becoming the third generation to own and operate the franchise. Customer service is excellent, the young lady at the front desk is extremely polite and efficient. I use the Comet cleaners on Pinhook Road in Lafayette Louisiana. The quality of garment care is second to none. I’m very pleased with comets service.
Comet cleaners is exceptionally clean, the staff is friendly, though not as friendly as my former cleaners. The staff is very professional and accurate, asking questions about my preferences. I appreciate the questions as that contributes to satisfaction for the customer. I have only visited Comet cleaners three times , so I am a new customer. I hope my satisfaction continues.
