Although not officially incorporated until 1957, Comet Cleaner’s history dates all the way back to the 1920’s where founder R.L. “Jack” Godfrey opened his first dry cleaning store. Comet Cleaners has remained in the Godfrey family ever since, with Jack Godfrey, Jr. becoming the third generation to own and operate the franchise. I needed a suit and shirt dry cleaned same day. I brought them right at 9:00 am and they were ready by 4pm! The girl that answers the phone and works at the front desk was very nice. I think I called 3 or 4 times with questions. They did a great job at a very reasonable price!
