Although not officially incorporated until 1957, Comet Cleaner’s history dates all the way back to the 1920’s where founder R.L. “Jack” Godfrey opened his first dry cleaning store. Comet Cleaners has remained in the Godfrey family ever since, with Jack Godfrey, Jr. becoming the third generation to own and operate the franchise. Great as always !
I was kinda shocked when they told me $46 to clean my comforter! I have brought my comforter there every few months for a while now. It was always $30 something dollars to clean. Although I have always been very satisfied with comet cleaners for cleaning my comforter and also doing my dry cleaning, I think I will have to check around to find a cleaners that doesn’t charge almost $50 to clean it.
