Brothers Cleaners was originally founded in Raleigh in 1916 by Emil Hilker, a German immigrant. Emil’s twin son’s, Jerry and Jim Hilker assumed ownership of the business after his retirement and ran it successfully until the mid 1970’s, when they went their separate business ways. At that point, the business was handed over to our current owners, twins Tom and Bob Hilker, the third generation to continue their family legacy. I had some pants hemmed and they were done well.
I'm very pleased with a the results of a very difficult repair to an older wool coat that belonged to my late mother. I plan to continue to bring items to Brother's now that I have found them to be very reliable and reasonable!

I brought in a 40+ year old hand quilted blanket belonging to my wife, done by her mother. It had great sentimental value. When we picked the blanket up we could not believe the difference between before and after cleaning. The colors were bright and sparkling and vibrant. It was in perfect shape. So, the next day I brought in an even older comforter done by her mother and we both can't wait to see the results. Excellent job.
As a new customer, I was blown away by the customer service of the Brother's staff, as well as the quality of their work. They will definitely be my go to cleaners while working in Raleigh.
