The manager at Puritan in Richmond, Tracey Hansom, is awesome. customer service is incredible. ! She is the reason I keep coming back.
I dropped off a suit to get cleaned for a funeral. This store tore the pants and refused to give them back to me. They filed an insurance claim and issued me a check for 20% of the value of the pants. I told them that all I wanted was my pants fixed and returned, but they sent a check anyway. I still have not gotten the pants back. They told me there is a good chance they were just destroyed. In dealing with management at this location they have been rude and unhelpful. I am satisfied with the cleaning of my garment, but I was told I had a $15.credit, yet when my daughter picked up my garment yesterday, the clerk at the counter said she could not find such a credit. This is the third mishap I have had with Puritans.
The staff, particularly the manager are out standing. They are my go to cleaners.
This is the second time I have had a problem with Puritan Cleaners. The first time I put a pair of pants in the cleaners and they claimed they couldn’t find them. It turns out someone had damaged my pants and an employee at the cleaners found them on the floor in a corner.
