I’ve been a long-time customer of Peerless, but my most recent experience was extremely disappointing. I brought in a pair of expensive Tommy Bahama logoed pants that I wear only once a year. The clerk openly admitted the pants were damaged by Peerless during cleaning — the pant blower locked the waist, inflated the pants, and blew out the zipper. The shirt ironing quality is declining. Wrinkles are pressed in, shirt tails of untucked shirts are ignored or pressed improperly.
My area rug that I brought in took 3 weeks and was only suppose to take 2. They were 5 days late getting it done and the original price was ridiculous! I will never come to Peerless again because they are overpriced and were a week late getting it done. Even though they gave me a 20% discount for being late, it was still very expensive. I can get 3 or 4 rooms in my house cleaned by Stanley Steamer for that price of cleaning my rug.
Took my daughter’s jacket in to be cleaned and picked up and didn’t check it until I got home. Still had a yogurt stain on it. I should have at least been told it didn’t come out and they couldn’t get a yogurt stain out? Really? This is a dry cleaner. Very disappointed.

I paid for 7 trousers to be dry cleaned and pressed. What I have seen so far is trousers washed and placed on hangers. The lady at the register said the steamer was broken. Yet I was charged full price. I can wash and hang.

This is not how we do business and we don't just wash and hang pants. They do get pressed and not put through a steamer so I am baffled as to why the employee said that. Someone from our staff will be contacting you.
Buttons on sleeves and button-down collars are not replaced. I thought all buttons would to be checked and replaced if they had fallen off or the iron had broken them.
