Milt and Edie's gives personalized service! I went to Milt and Edie's to get my boss's shirts dry cleaned and I had a really good experience. They personalize each order and make sure they know what you want done. They also send you coupons in the mail and provide snacks while you wait in line. I went back to get my dress altered (I was a bridesmaid in a wedding.) They did a great job and their prices seemed reasonable for a last minute job. Terrible business Milt & Edie's lost a button down shirt of mine. I brought in 3 shirts, and they only gave me back 2. I called 3 different times to let them know they lost my shirt. Each time, they let me know that a manager would call me back immediately, and each time, no one ever called me back. Finally, after 2 weeks, I called and spoke to a manager. Crappy. What a joke. I took 4 pairs of pants in to be altered, but only came out with 3. Took 'em a day to find the lost pair, which they claim was seperated from the group because it was already the length I was requesting via alteration. Then, they delivered the pair of pants to my home when I wasn't there -- they just left them hanging on my door for someone to steal, even though the girl promised they wouldn't be delivered until the following morning (when I would be home). Terrible Service & Ruined My Clothes I would never write a review, but I was so furious by my recent experience at Milt & Edies's, that I had to. They ruined my duvet cover and LOST BOTH pillow cases. On top of it, they ruined a silk shirt of mine and told me that it was not their fault. TERRIBLE & Expensive. 2+ years as customer, lately noticed a steady DECLINE. They seem in a hurry to "turn over" clothes and don't pay attention to detail. I've asked them to pre-treat stains, they didn't and then tried to pass off the STILL-STAINED clothing as clean. Forced to argue with them to get them reclean properly. Was NOT offered any discount or refund for waste of my time or poor quality service (contrary to signage and printed materials). Poor Quality, Expensive Service I experienced poor quality service with this cleaners, and also agree that they are rather expensive. On three difference occasions the hem that was sewn by the adjustors fell out. The cleaning was of poor quality. The whites did not come back looking "white", but a bit yellowish. The quality of the pressing on the shirts was mediocre. Suits that I had cleaned did not appear to have been de-linted.
