Very timely delivery, but not what I expected. Cardboard box to hold my gown forever? No thank you.
While the presentation was nice, why gown came back with some specks of dirt and dust that weren't there when I sent it in.
Dress was fine and secured. Only problem is there is tissue paper or whatever they put in the top of the dress sticking out the top. Was so sad my mom paid the extra to have it done and there is a piece of tissue sticking out the top.
My dress looks super clean and I had a beach wedding so I'm glad to get all the sand out of it . The only thing that bugs me is my corset stings are missing from my dress. It's not a huge deal but if I ever decide to wear my dress again I'll have to go and buy another because mine was somehow missed during cleaning.
Well, I boxed up my wedding dress and veil and mailed it off. I rec'd a phone called when box arrived and was informed that the veil wasn't there. I placed it in the bag provided along with the dress and paperwork, even pinned the paperwork to the veil. No compensation was offered, only the wedding dress is covered under the insurance. The dress arrived back to me in less than 2 weeks and looks nice in the box, just missing my veil for memories.
Paid for gown preservation via David's Bridal for my daughter's baptismal gown (paid full gown price, not flower girl dress pricing). I received it back quickly which was great, but I was displeased with the actual arrangement of the dress/accessories. You can see the tag on the dress, it's not centered, and they moved some of the pinned on details of the dress around, and distributed the dress unevenly so it looks empty near the top and bunched up near the bottom. Well, all I can comment on is the speediness of it. You can't inspect anything because you're not supposed to open the box.
I was happy with the way my dress looked and was preserved but when I looked for my handkerchief the one I sent wasn't there and someone else's was. I was very disappointed. I tried emailing them multiple times and have yet receive a response.
There is a piece of tissue paper, or something, inside the top of the box that continually falls down over the top part of my dress. So i cant see the entire top of my dress. I could fix it by opening the box but that isnt recommended.
