Liberto Cleaners has been serving the New Orleans area since 1932. A Liberto family member has owned and operated the business since its inception. Jay’s grandfather, “Nat”, opened the current location on Willow St. in 1947. Nat passed the baton to his son and wife, J.B. and Patsy, in 1962, who then passed it to Jay and Courtney in 1997. Jay or Courtney is almost always at the store.

I raced in at 5:26 and was out before close at 5:30 with my suit...
Brought my quilt that my friend had urinated on and had holes in it. I asked to patch the holes and you said you'd get back to me, I was never contacted and the holes were not fixed. In addition, the fluff inside of the quilt is completely ruined, some spots it is bunched up and other spots there's nothing there. I need to get a new quilt because of this. I have no complaints about my orders dropped off at Liberto. I didn't have anything that was visibly dirty or anything, but what I got back was clean by my standards and for reasonable prices. I also dropped off a queen sized comforter on a Friday, and was able to pick it up the following Monday. Very timely.
I always request LIGHT starch. The last pickup of my shirts had so much starch I could barely push the buttons thru the button holes. Further,the colar is so full of starch it is BRITTLE. If the person applying the starch knew it causes "dry rot" to the fabric, and ruins a $75 shirt, maybe ther would tone it down a bit.
