I came in on Sunday and asked the lady about how much would it cost for half of my shirts to be cleaned & pressed and the other half to be pressed only. The lady informed me the price for the first half of shirts and the second half of shirts will be like 20 percent off. I came in to pick up my shirts and was charged full price for all my shirts. I didn't understand because half of my shirts should've been cheaper, according to the lady on Sunday. Now I'm trying to explain to the lady what had happened and what was told to m... read more

Mack, she should of told you. we press all laundered shirts WET. so that's why we don't "press only" laundered shirts. I was the one who marked them in. Normally if shirts are pressed only, and not washed, they are charged as "hand press" at $6.15 each then we take off 20% for the press only. We can press WET shirts at a rate of about 45 shirts an hour. Dry shirys, press only, we can only do about 20 shirts an hour. We charge $2.85 to clean and press shirts.
