In 1925 Gassner joined with Benjamin Mellman and a third friend, Jacob Ritvoe, to incorporate French Dye Works at the location it currently sits today, 935 Farmington Ave. Today, French Cleaners is focused on servicing the loyal customer base and maintaining the high quality and impeccable service so many have come to expect.

I brought material in to have some masks made. While I donated the extra material, there was no charge for the masks. What a wonderful thing to do- I am so grateful. I plan to donate more material and will surely bring any dry cleaning there in the future! What a fabulous store!! Thanks so very much!!!
