Mitch and Sandy Jacobs (third generation dry cleaners) purchased Drake Cleaners in 2006 and are pleased to be a valued part of the Midtown community. had MOB and bridal gowns dry cleaned, the cleaning itself appears to be fine. only thing i did not like was that the Bridal gown was not covered with a dry cleaning bag; it was put back into the dress bag provided by the dress-manufacturer, but the bag was not checked for dust/dirt in the bottom of the bag. there wasn't a lot of dirt/sparkles/stuff in the bag, but there was some, and it just seemed inappropriate to clean a wedding gown and put it into a bag that was not quality-checked for cleanliness (the bag was used to... read more

I had two favorite work shirts with identical holes worn in the breast pockets. I took them to Drake Cleaners hoping they could patch the holes. I picked them up a week later, as promised. They actually texted me that they were ready a day early. Now they are as good as new!

I love that when I walk into my dry cleaner, I’m called by name. I’m called by name if I was there last week or 6 months before. I will always use drakes from now on (as long as I can afford it). Thanks Mitch for training your staff with care and rep-ore.
