When I moved to Dorchester 15 yrs ago I discovered Dependable Cleaners. It is easy to get to because I lived right behind building. The service is great, they listen to you when you tell them you want something done. The manager is Francisco Montrond. He is a very nice person and he listen to you when you have a problem. I couldn't live without Dependable Cleaners cleaning my clothes.
Had two items tailored and they were done to perfection. I am very pleased. It looks like they were bought that way. He was truly a perfectionist and the pricing was good as well.
I would like to give 3.5 stars, but that's not an option... DC didn't get the coffee stains out of my yellow coat as I requested at drop off, and in the cleaning process pressed one cuff wrong in the sleeve and, more importantly, seams came open under the arms. However, the manager called me personally and is having his tailor repair the seams, so there was an attempt to make things right. I do wish they had tried harder to get the coffee stains out- I don't feel like they were any lighter.

The experience was great. Opened up a new membership and was informed of all the services offered to me. I was well taking care of. My clothes were ready at a reasonable time. Can't wait to go back.

I must say I was beyond pleased by the civility that each worker within Dependable Cleaners had. “Customer Service” seems to be a dying phenomenon, but Dependable Cleaners certainly has it! I am usually leery of dry cleaners, due to my passion for clothes, but I must say my items were laundered to my expectations. I only have one qualm and that’s the lack of starch that I requested for a garment to be ironed with, nevertheless I am pleased with the service and the work. Thank you. -GiGi

Just this past week, I went in to have a hopelessly large patterned shirt tailored to be more fitted, and it turned out great! The service was speedy and friendly, the job was completed one day ahead of schedule, and I was kept in the loop via email. Very happy with the result. I'll be back for sure!
