Although not officially incorporated until 1957, Comet Cleaner’s history dates all the way back to the 1920’s where founder R.L. “Jack” Godfrey opened his first dry cleaning store. Comet Cleaners has remained in the Godfrey family ever since, with Jack Godfrey, Jr. becoming the third generation to own and operate the franchise.

Bad customer servi
On Tuesday, I took in 8 press only items. I also took in a skirt to be dry cleaned. Normally, my dry cleaning ticket is a separate ticket. For some reason, the attendant put everything on the same ticket. On Wednesday, when I picked up my clothes, I did not get the Tues/Thurs 25% discount on my skirt. The attendant insisted that I did receive the discount, which I did not. The reason I did not is because she put everything on one ticket. Very poor customer service. Will not be going back
The cleaners is OK but they put these small stickers on your clothing and it has ruined some of my husband's pants. He won't go back. When I mentioned this to them, they said I was the only person that had ever complained about it and that was it.
