Although not officially incorporated until 1957, Comet Cleaner’s history dates all the way back to the 1920’s where founder R.L. “Jack” Godfrey opened his first dry cleaning store. Comet Cleaners has remained in the Godfrey family ever since, with Jack Godfrey, Jr. becoming the third generation to own and operate the franchise.

Comment cleaners does a really good job. However I had 2 pairs of pants to be dry cleaned and one shirt to be laundered and my bill was nearly $15, and i turned them in on a Thursday, which I'm supposedly getting 25% off. This is way more expensive than my previous cleaners. I'm going to shop around the area for a new dry cleaner.
