Although not officially incorporated until 1957, Comet Cleaner’s history dates all the way back to the 1920’s where founder R.L. “Jack” Godfrey opened his first dry cleaning store. Comet Cleaners has remained in the Godfrey family ever since, with Jack Godfrey, Jr. becoming the third generation to own and operate the franchise.

We've been using Comet Cleaners in Allen for years and they've always been terrific! Never a garment ruined and we go monthly for my husbands work attire.

Thank you for your kind review. We don’t have a seamstress on site, but we do have one that fixes simple things like new zippers, hems, patching or simple fixes. We e don’t do anything that requires a fitting or taking measurements physically. Comet
