Brothers Cleaners was originally founded in Raleigh in 1916 by Emil Hilker, a German immigrant. Emil’s twin son’s, Jerry and Jim Hilker assumed ownership of the business after his retirement and ran it successfully until the mid 1970’s, when they went their separate business ways. At that point, the business was handed over to our current owners, twins Tom and Bob Hilker, the third generation to continue their family legacy. Always friendly and efficient. And clothes look great. I wouldn’t think about taking my dry cleaning anywhere else.
Your service was efficient. I brought two garments on Wednesday and they were ready for pickup on Thursday! Prices per garment seems expensive for dry cleaning. The cost is preventive in comparison to other local cleaners. Why do pricy?

There seemed to be confusion about my account which was set for one end-of-the- month payment, which was changed without my knowledge. It was eventually resolved in the store.

Excellent service and reception from the lady at the counter. It’s great to experience friendly people who are anxious to help at this busy time of year. My challenging cleaning was done with care and promptly completed and notification sent when it was ready for pick up.
