Brothers Cleaners was originally founded in Raleigh in 1916 by Emil Hilker, a German immigrant. Emil’s twin son’s, Jerry and Jim Hilker assumed ownership of the business after his retirement and ran it successfully until the mid 1970’s, when they went their separate business ways. At that point, the business was handed over to our current owners, twins Tom and Bob Hilker, the third generation to continue their family legacy. Always done so well and delivery service is wonderful and caring!
Drop off and pick up was seamless. Notices that my article was ready for pick up were as anticipated and cost was within reason.
We appreciate Larry, who picks up and delivers our dry cleaning twice a week. We especially appreciate Larry’s help when we are unexpectedly called out of town - we can call or text and he will hold our cleaning until we get home so it doesn’t hang on our front door.
The staff is always pleasant. Especially Cathy, she makes me smile and feel welcome every time.
