Brothers Cleaners was originally founded in Raleigh in 1916 by Emil Hilker, a German immigrant. Emil’s twin son’s, Jerry and Jim Hilker assumed ownership of the business after his retirement and ran it successfully until the mid 1970’s, when they went their separate business ways. At that point, the business was handed over to our current owners, twins Tom and Bob Hilker, the third generation to continue their family legacy. First time Using your service and it was very delightful walking in and being greeted by the representative of the cleaners. The pricing seemed quite high for me since I had also worked in a cleaners for many years but I was new to the Raleigh area and have not priced anything in this industry so I took a chance and left my garments to be cleaned I did receive a call stating that there were some stains that had appeared in the processOf cleaning and I gave permission to continue and it’s a very friendly environment and the ... read more

I was greeted by a friendly person. My item was ready when I was told it would be. Prices were great.
I brought in my Dad’s yellowed christening gown that had been stored in a paper bag in the attic. Brother’s Cleaners made it look brand new! I am amazed and extremely happy with the result! Thank you!
