Brothers Cleaners was originally founded in Raleigh in 1916 by Emil Hilker, a German immigrant. Emil’s twin son’s, Jerry and Jim Hilker assumed ownership of the business after his retirement and ran it successfully until the mid 1970’s, when they went their separate business ways. At that point, the business was handed over to our current owners, twins Tom and Bob Hilker, the third generation to continue their family legacy. Always a pleasurable experience along with the always friendly staff.
The quilt is sealed up beautifully after being dry cleaned. Attempt at removing the worst stains were successful, and I am very pleased with the result. This is an antique quilt& I feel Brothers did a very good job and took exquisite care with a very delicate item.
Brothers had my bedspread ready in only 2 days! It wasn’t expecting it for a week. I greatly appreciate how professionally it was packaged. It looked great! Also, your staff was kind enough to put it in my car for me which helped me tremendously. The staff is always personable to each customer! Thanks for being there for me!

Fantastic as usual! I cannot understand how the coupons/discounts are applied. The receipts are confusing enough because of how clothes are batched. I cannot see what the price is normally and what it is due to the coupon. Great quality of cleaning! Would like to see the staff smile more.
