Brothers Cleaners was originally founded in Raleigh in 1916 by Emil Hilker, a German immigrant. Emil’s twin son’s, Jerry and Jim Hilker assumed ownership of the business after his retirement and ran it successfully until the mid 1970’s, when they went their separate business ways. At that point, the business was handed over to our current owners, twins Tom and Bob Hilker, the third generation to continue their family legacy. The people who help me are always professional and helpful. I really like to see the young people who are dressed professionally. In the many years I have gone to Brothers, I remember seeing most of the young men in a tie; it makes a very nice impression.
Was assisted promptly. They worked with me to use my coupon for service. Never a problem with the quality of cleaning my clothes. In six years they’ve only forgotten to put a belt back on with my jacket. Realized it two weeks later and they got the belt back to me. Service is always great- especially from the manager. I don’t know how she does it but she will remember your name after a few visits!

Brothhers Cleaners is the best! Their free pickup and delivery is awesome...we never have to remember to drop off or pick up the cleaning. We’ve been loyal customers for almost 40 years & wouldn’t think of using another cleaners in Raleigh.
