We spent 5 hours on my daughter's wedding day hand steaming her dress that I'd paid A Cleaner World $138 to do. They steamed it with the dress BUSTLED. Who on earth does that??? They steamed all the folds from the bustle into the dress. It looked terrible, and even after all that time, we couldn't get it all out. So disgusted. Disputing charge.

I have to give these guys 1 star just to warn you. I brought in 8 pair of pants last week to be altered to a 28" inseam. Today I pick up my order to find that they did a 26" inseam. Cost for alterations on 8 pair of pants and dry clean &171.88, lost money on pants over $275. I told them I wanted a refund for my charge, he said he did it and it has not shown. I took back the other 4 pair of pants and 2 jackets that I was going to have done. The worst part about it is the manager said he asked the guy who took the order... read more

Three men's shirts and a lady's unlined linen suit jacket came back only partially ironed. The side seams of the shirts and the sleeves were unpressed and half of the front of the jacket was unpressed. A note accompanied the jacket that they couldn't get the stain out - it was cocoa powder and I have now used "Shout Out" and it is gone. Very sloppy work. Not using again, despite the convenience of pick up and delivery to the Elk River Club. M. Bradshaw

I went into A Cleaner World this morning to take my cleaning. I witnessed a horrible exchange between staff members - a male staff member SCREAMED at the girl at the counter for no reason at all. I thought he was going to hit her, instead he slammed something down and made a terrible racket. I was really scared he was going to hit her. The girl looked at him and said "I'm done." and left. I am so disappointed in this cleaners. My jacket came out just like it went in. It didn't even smell like it was cleaned at all, no spot removal done, and it had lint all over it. REALLY what a waste of 6.00. I will be looking for a new one.

Worst dry cleaners ever. Took a sweater in for cleaning 3 weeks ago for a trip in a colder climate coming this weekend. Went to pick up sweater last Saturday. After waiting in drive through for about 8 minutes the come out and tell me they could not locate the sweater but was sure it was there and manager is locating and will call me as soon as they find. I purchased a used dress which had some stains on it. Most were small and not really noticeable especially with the pattern and colors on the dress; however, I did take the time to pin each spot before taking it to the cleaners. The main spot was on the left breast area. I took the dress to A Cleaner World in Boone and showed the person at the desk each spot.
