After just moving to North Carolina, I was apprehensive to take in a faux fur cover to my very favorite chair. They assured me that it wasn't a problem and not to worry that they would take care of it for me. It came out BEAUTIFUL!!! Needless to say, this is my new dry cleaner! The service is also excellent!!
I needed alterations and dry cleaning done in a tight timeframe and they made it happen! The manager, Tim, is very professional and courteous. This has become my go-to dry cleaners
I never leave reviews anywhere, but felt this place deserved commendation. My girlfriend had some tough bbq stains on an expensive silk dress she borrowed. The stains didn't come entirely out when we returned, and when she pointed it out the staff was so nice and cleaned it again. They made the order free of charge and made the dress look brand new. Excellent service!
Not realizing that the Pandemic delivery schedule didn't include Saturdays right now, I arrived at our Chapel Hill location to discover my son's overnight drop off order wasn't in-house. I panicked because he needed the clothes for a wedding in a few hours (and had come from Massachusetts so he had no backup!). A Cleaner World acted promptly and calmly (unlike my behavior!). They made my comforter set, two knit blankets, and sheets smell fresh and new again! Pretty remarkable because cat urine can be potent and irreversible, but my items are back to normal again! Thank you to the staff and manager for offering to service my items when I wasn't 100% satisfied initially. I am so happy with how they took care of my linen, and thankful for not having to buy new bedding. This location has excellent customer service and will follow up with you as promised.
I live in Boston and took my wife's almost-new white blazer to our local cleaners. It came back with a stain on the front. When I took it back, they offered to reimburse me for the blazer, but said there wasn't anything they could do. My wife had looked for a white blazer in her petite size for a few years, so we didn't want the money, we wanted the blazer! I pulled out a load of laundry only to find blue detergent stains on almost every piece! I was so upset and it was late so I tried to soak them in a white vinegar and water mixture. With no success, I called the manager, Timothy and he told me not worry and to bring in all the pieces. He is in the process of removing each stain by hand and I could not be more appreciative! These were my sons favorite jerseys and it would cost a lot to replace each piece! Thank you Timothy!
We've had very few problems with A Cleaner World. Consistently good results and perfectly friendly folks. My bill always seems high; I've been dragging my feet but the time has probably come to shop around for a place closer to my budget. Their base prices are online. They do currently have a cost-saving option in lieu of coupons, where you can save on 1-2 types of clothing at a time on 1 day of the week. My highest recommendation to Timothy Jay Rolle, General Manager and the staff. Today at 9 AM on Saturday, I walked into A Cleaner World in a panic thinking I had ruined a brand new pair of slacks when I botched the hem using heat'n'bond. The glue seeped out to the right side of the fabric. As soon as I walked through the doors, the staff seeing my worry offered me quick attention and care.
