I’ve been using the same dry cleaners for over 20 years. I started going to the Alameda Martinizing Dry Leaners in South Shore back when I lived out there. When I moved to Oakland, I tried to go to a few different ones by my house but none could do the job of getting stains and marks off my clothes, so I would drive to alameda to drop off and pick up my clothes in South Shore. On the recommendation of a friend, I called Martinizing for a pick up of 4 sheet sets and a ton of dry cleaning. The pick up person was upbeat and friendly, and told me they would be delivering my order in 2 days. I was absolutely amazed, and more than thrilled when they did deliver it all 2 days later. I loved the way they laundered the bedding with light starch, and the dry cleaning was done very carefully, ie cashmere sweater needed to be pilled but I did not ask for that to be done--it was done, and perfectly. Love love Love Martinizing Cleaners! My dry cleaning is always perfect. No missed stains, no iron burns and the myriad of other issues other cleaners seem to always have. I’ve had so much bad luck with other cleaners so it’s nice to finally have a cleaner that is consistently good. I no longer live or work close to their locations in Danville or Alameda but they do super convenient pickup and drop off. I pick them over the three cleaners who are within a 5 minute drive from my home.
