In the past, I have had fairly good experience here. Unfortunately, something has changed. When I last dropped off clothing, the young man was very rude. I let it go. However, when I picked up my clothes yesterday, the older woman working (maybe the owner) was incredibly curt and irritable to me. She was not friendly, interrupted me, rolled her eyes when I mistakenly did not give her the correct dollar amount with cash payment. She was also pushy. My fiancé dropped off a shirt of to be cleaned. I was contacted shortly there after asking if I knew my fiancé , was the garment mine, etc. As odd as the questions were and how they even knew it was mine shirt, I still answered yes. I was told they knew it was my shirt because Courtesy Cleaners placed a micro chip in the garment to track it. Dear James, we are sincerely sorry for any confusion. We don't use any micro chips and never have to identify any garments. We place a small barcode, as many cleaners do now, usually behind the garment label on the garment. This barcode is saved under your name since we use names to identify customers when they drop off or pick up versus phone numbers.
