Brothers Cleaners was originally founded in Raleigh in 1916 by Emil Hilker, a German immigrant. Emil’s twin son’s, Jerry and Jim Hilker assumed ownership of the business after his retirement and ran it successfully until the mid 1970’s, when they went their separate business ways. Hi, I am a seasoned HS teacher and I have always liked to dress professional. I drive one hour and twenty minutes to meet with the amazing staff of Brothers Cleaners in the Atlantic Avenue site. Looking clean includes wearing clothes that have been carefully selected, separated to either be laundered or dry cleaned and pressed. Brother's Cleaners has always done an outstanding job in cleaning my items brought in. Turn around is always quicker than originally expected. And in the past, they've also make repairs to items that have been brought in. This is the only place I bring items in to be cleaned or repaired.
Recently, I had my large bed cover cleaned by this dry cleaners. They did a wonderful job! It came back cleaned beautifully ! It had a spot on it and they removed so it looks brand new! I highly recommend them for using for any cleaning you might need to have done!

Great service! I mistakenly thought Brothers opened at 7 am and was there at 7:15 Wednesday to find it closed. As I was leaving ,an employee was walking toward the entrance, who I stopped and asked if I could give her my cleaning, which was in one of your bags. Since you are my regular dry cleaners and my things were tagged, which she asked, she graciously said yes and saved me another trip.
No one is better, no one!!! Incredibly fast, great quality work, everyone is friendly and smiles!! Cindy is amazing, as is the whole team!
