Brothers Cleaners was originally founded in Raleigh in 1916 by Emil Hilker, a German immigrant. Emil’s twin son’s, Jerry and Jim Hilker assumed ownership of the business after his retirement and ran it successfully until the mid 1970’s, when they went their separate business ways. At that point, the business was handed over to our current owners, twins Tom and Bob Hilker, the third generation to continue their family legacy. Brothers always does a great job with everything I take them. Dry cleaning is perfect and done fast. My shirts always look great. My wife is always satisfied with her dry cleaned garments. Staff is always professional and friendly. Wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Brothers Cleaners is the best. I used a discount dry cleaner for a number of years because I thought all dry cleaners were the same. WRONG. The first time I brought cleaning here, I was amazed at how much cleaner the shirts were, from the cuffs to the usual ring-around-the collar which was GONE, and how professionally they were pressed.
