Brothers Cleaners was originally founded in Raleigh in 1916 by Emil Hilker, a German immigrant. Emil’s twin son’s, Jerry and Jim Hilker assumed ownership of the business after his retirement and ran it successfully until the mid 1970’s, when they went their separate business ways. At that point, the business was handed over to our current owners, twins Tom and Bob Hilker, the third generation to continue their family legacy. Two ladies suit jackets were well cleaned and pressed. Desk clerk was fast and polite and welcomed me back.

I am pleased with your work. However, I do not always receive the senior discount when I drop off or pick-up on Thursdays. I have a suggestion: Create a policy by which seniors age 72 or older can present proof of age, and receive the discount any day that we pick up.
I really needed pants hemmed for my 86 year old mom. Her boyfriend, whom she has not seen since March when she moved to Raleigh to live with me was coming for a visit. The lovely staff at the North Hills store took great care of me and made it happen. Thank you so much.
Always go to brothers, somewhat disappointed that I don’t get any discounts anymore! Not AARP or teachers or just a frequent customer!
