Brothers Cleaners was originally founded in Raleigh in 1916 by Emil Hilker, a German immigrant. Emil’s twin son’s, Jerry and Jim Hilker assumed ownership of the business after his retirement and ran it successfully until the mid 1970’s, when they went their separate business ways. At that point, the business was handed over to our current owners, twins Tom and Bob Hilker, the third generation to continue their family legacy. I’ve have used Brothers Cleaners for many years in the North Hills area. This door to door pick up service is convenient and over all great! We’ve had home pick up and delivery service twice a week for several years and know the service to be consistently dependable, timely and made very easy to use. The few times over the years when we had a special need or issue to be raised, a call into the contact number for home delivery service was placed and the matter was addressed promptly.
