Brothers Cleaners was originally founded in Raleigh in 1916 by Emil Hilker, a German immigrant. Emil’s twin son’s, Jerry and Jim Hilker assumed ownership of the business after his retirement and ran it successfully until the mid 1970’s, when they went their separate business ways. At that point, the business was handed over to our current owners, twins Tom and Bob Hilker, the third generation to continue their family legacy. Pick up date from drop off date was very quick for regular service (2-days) and ready when told it would be. The dry cleaning pieces and laundered pieces came out very professionally prepared. The staff was very friendly and helpful and their service was appreciated.

The suit was well cleaned when I didn’t know if it could be saved due to heavy mildew stains. The cleaning was done quickly and was done a full day before I’d expected. The staff I encountered were all very efficient.
Walked in and was greeted immediately by the friendly front staff. The start to the end, customer service was great! They did an amazing job removing the dog hair and cleaning my boyfriend’s coat. Definitely will be going back.
