Brothers Cleaners was originally founded in Raleigh in 1916 by Emil Hilker, a German immigrant. Emil’s twin son’s, Jerry and Jim Hilker assumed ownership of the business after his retirement and ran it successfully until the mid 1970’s, when they went their separate business ways. At that point, the business was handed over to our current owners, twins Tom and Bob Hilker, the third generation to continue their family legacy. I love not having to make runs to pick up & drop off cleaning. I am very happy so far with the quality of the cleaning. I previously used another well known chain in the general area. They shrank cashmere sweaters & ruined a silk garment with too high heat. Brother’s is great so far!!
Very good. All personal very helpful and get my orders correct. I have several different garments with different levels of finish. Upon delivery, always bring my news paper to the porch. Just one of those little extras...thx
