Brothers Cleaners was originally founded in Raleigh in 1916 by Emil Hilker, a German immigrant. Emil’s twin son’s, Jerry and Jim Hilker assumed ownership of the business after his retirement and ran it successfully until the mid 1970’s, when they went their separate business ways. At that point, the business was handed over to our current owners, twins Tom and Bob Hilker, the third generation to continue their family legacy. My clothes are always cleaned well. In addition , my clothes are always returned with an excellent presentation.

Spoke with our rep on the phone, who was very pleasant & helpful. Service was quick and the price was reasonable. No complaints, and will definitely use Brothers again if/when the need arises.
Pickup and Delivery is awesome!
It has been a very pleasing experience since Cindy has been working with me. We have worked out a plan so that when I get my sheets back I know exactly what I brought in t be pressed. She is wonderful!

We appreciate Larry, who picks up and delivers our dry cleaning twice a week. We especially appreciate Larry’s help when we are unexpectedly called out of town - we can call or text and he will hold our cleaning until we get home so it doesn’t hang on our front door.
The staff is always pleasant. Especially Cathy, she makes me smile and feel welcome every time.
