Brothers Cleaners was originally founded in Raleigh in 1916 by Emil Hilker, a German immigrant. Emil’s twin son’s, Jerry and Jim Hilker assumed ownership of the business after his retirement and ran it successfully until the mid 1970’s, when they went their separate business ways. At that point, the business was handed over to our current owners, twins Tom and Bob Hilker, the third generation to continue their family legacy. Been a regular customer since coming to Raleigh in 1990. Always good results and in a few instances did a few shirts over on request. Always pleasant personnel and service. Highly recommend!

I took 11 wool sweaters in for a cleaning and putting away for the summer. All of the sweaters were either from Ireland or Scotland, and they were fairly expensive. Because of the reputation of Brothers Cleaners, I decided to trust them with the dry cleaning or hand washing as needed. They did an outstanding job and returned them to me in plastic bags individually packed. I certainly recommend this cleaners for your finer attire and I will be back.

Larry is our driver who picks up and delivers our dry cleaning. Larry is EXCEPTIONAL!!! He takes care of making sure our clothing items are pressed the way we prefer and any other need we have. He cares about his clients so I am sure he is a valuable employee to your business. Our clothes are cleaned with care and returned looking like new.
