Brothers Cleaners was originally founded in Raleigh in 1916 by Emil Hilker, a German immigrant. Emil’s twin son’s, Jerry and Jim Hilker assumed ownership of the business after his retirement and ran it successfully until the mid 1970’s, when they went their separate business ways. At that point, the business was handed over to our current owners, twins Tom and Bob Hilker, the third generation to continue their family legacy. I brought you a challenging cleaning project (grease spots on pants) and you did a very good job at removing them.
This was the 3rd wedding gown that I had preserved - and as always Brothers did a fantastic job!!! My daughter is thrilled to have her gorgeous gown saved for a future daughter or niece to wear!

The staff at Brother’s Cleaners are incredible. I love the free pick-up and delivery service— it is so convenient! Our clothes and other dry cleaning items are always treated with the utmost care. Our driver, Felix, is so kind and professional — and timely! I would not take our clothes anywhere else. Thank you for taking care of all of our family’s dry cleaning needs!
