I brought my bag in on Friday afternoon and asked if it would be ready by 4:00 the next day. The surprise came when I received a text at about 1:30 or so saying my dry cleaning was ready early. I was able to coordinate that stop with another errand and it smoothed out my afternoon. 😊
I’m glad I went to the Berlin location after the Old Lyme didn’t send my things out. I understand the current situation, but I’m a first responder, working 12-15 hour days and would have appreciated just being notified that I wouldn’t receive my things for week. I will not be using the Old Lyme location ever again, and will look for another dry cleaner in the future.
I was told a coupon for 15% off could be used, however when I arrived to pick up my items, I was informed it had expired, even though there was no date listed anywhere on it. I have been going to Best for almost 20 years and would think a manager would honor it under the circumstances - but the explanation given to me was that it had expired in the system and there was nothing that could be done. Biggest rip off. I had one dress shirt washed. Charged me $3.48.. Then I had the sleeves cut off 4 long sleeve tee shirts. I was charged $24.00 each for the 4 tee shirts, $96.00. I only paid $12.00 each to buy the 4 tee shirts. I will never use Best Cleaners again.....

I had a belt buckle reattached on an old belt is completely reattached backwards very disappointed

Upon return from cleaning, I noticed comforter was ripped. This is the second time I went to Best Cleaners in Berlin. The first time, I brought custom linen showers curtains. They didn’t get completely clean. And neither time did my linens smell clean and fresh. Needless to say, I won’t be going back.
