Service was very good, but entirely too expensive. 3 items cost $50+! Linen sheath dress needed nothing special and cost $24 to dryclean. My bad for not asking prices beforehand.
What a scam! I rarely need dry cleaning, but had a couple of dresses that needed it, nothing fancy. I dropped them off at Westbank because I was running other errands nearby and had a coupon. I couldn’t believe my total was $44 for two dresses even with 15% off! I hope they’re paying all their staff a living wage; that’s the only reason I could think of to justify the cost when I know other places that will clean a dress for $6.
Total rip-off. $22 bucks per dress and $11 bucks per shirt and pant for 12 items coming to a grand total of over $200.00! I was shocked. They should give you the price per item and total before you leave so you know what you're paying for. Do my clothes look great? Yes. Amazing, friendly customer service? Yes (they even offered me a water). Would I ever go here again? Heck no!
This place is a complete rip off. $40 to clean 3 polos and 1 button down. Never paid more than $20 at Ricks for the same. Headed back to Rick's. Might be out of the way but it's better service and no price gouging.
When I needs my clothes clean. I go here. They are very friendly, and even if you have really dirty clothes and you're in a big rush, they will clean them for you. So even if you're not an Austin Texas native, I highly recommend that you go to this drycleaners. Plus I believe they are becoming more and more environmentally friendly, which is very important to me.
