Fred Walden worked at the store on Porter off and on from 1959 to 1968. In 1968 he took a job in Texas until spring of 1969. In May of 1969 Fred Walden met his wife Carolyn Walden at Sonic on Lindsey Street. They were married in December and for the first few months Carolyn worked at another job but it wasn't long before she came to work at Waldens Cleaners. My dad had just passed away,and I took a jacket that he wanted to be buried in to be cleaned. The jacket was ready next day at no charge. It’s nice to know that there are still businesses and people who still care about people. Great place to do business and great people.

There were issues w/the CC system and Whitney handled all very well. Took my cell # to contact me the next day. Then your phone system was having issues so she asked if I would mind if we talked via our cell phones so I could pay. Your associates hv always been happy and efficient. I see your prices have gone up so it’s a lot to spend almost $10 each time for one shirt but you do a great job so it is what it is. TY and I will be back.
