Fred Walden worked at the store on Porter off and on from 1959 to 1968. In 1968 he took a job in Texas until spring of 1969. In May of 1969 Fred Walden met his wife Carolyn Walden at Sonic on Lindsey Street. They were married in December and for the first few months Carolyn worked at another job but it wasn't long before she came to work at Waldens Cleaners. I usually just get my coat cleaned in the spring , but this year my sister also needed her prom dress pressed. Walden’s was great from the beginning, everyone was so nice! The young lady who took my dress explained how they would press it and the charges for different levels of service. This was a huge formal dress with two mesh underlayers and lots of glitter. Walden’s is perfection. The care they take is amazing. The staff is outstanding and each person listens to the needs you may have. You will not be disappointed with the service and quality of cleaning.

I drive 30 min one way to use Walden’s. I won’t go anywhere else. We moved out of town, but I still drive into Norman for my dry cleaning.

I’ve used Walden cleaners for about eight years, every since I moved to Norman. They have always been fun and professional to interact with on drop off and pickup. The quality of service is consistently of the highest order. They are always prompt and reliable. I have no need or desire to look elsewhere. Keep doing what you’re doing. It’s appreciated.
